This happens (in my experience) when a baby is being held by the daycare provider and gets teleported back home. Occasionally you will get GoHere errors with the daycare. If I call the babysitter, my toddlers teleport automatically to the daycare. When my actives leave the lot to go to work, I also get a notification to either "Call Babysitter" or "Stay Here". This probably isn't a problem if you let the lot hibernate and don't visit but I'm nosy so.ģ. Place toys further back from the door, so the toddlers move away from the rest to get to them. An open floor plan helps the adults navigate babies and toddlers teleport in randomly throughout the day. Too many times I peeked in to see everyone in a traffic jam by the front door. Lastly, I made sure the daycare house has an open floorplan, with strategically placed items. It's much better than being paranoid all the time about getting the social worker called on you. Most babies get put in the mat and they're set for the day. Yes, it's cheating, but when he has 10 squalling babies on the lot and no help, it's a bit much. I also use those mats that replenish everything but social. But they do free up his time to take care of the kiddos. They will not pick up or touch any of the babies/toddlers that I have seen. They are homemakers, but they (supposedly) help keep everything clean. To help, I gave him 2 backup support ladies. The game doesn't run as efficiently as we do when we direct them, so they need some assistance. If your neighborhood has a lot of toddlers/babies, she will not be able to keep up with caring for all of them. He just got promoted during my last gameplay to Level 4. I actually made a Daycare Cast that has all these settings, so when he dies or gets replaced, it's easy to keep it going. He has an all day curfew, and he has settings to stop him from being pushed to other lots. I had to use SP to make sure the daycare guy was not being pushed outside the lot. I also had the problem with the daycare provider being gone. #1 and #3 I think may help your problems.ġ. My daycare is run by an inactive family made specifically for being the neighborhood's daycare providers, but I am able to jump in and out of controlling that family without issues (this seems like what you want to do). It took a bit for me to setup properly too. I thought I would jump in here since I have an active daycare that seems to be working well. I forgot how pretty it is Even if I move everything to Riverview, I'd still like to know how to make this daycare problem work. which is kinda silly, seeing as the child was at a "Daycare center!"Īs you can imagine, I got frustrated and decided to start working on Riverview for a while. I even had my sim take the toddler to the daycare (which was next door) and set him down on the floor and try to go to school, but as soon as he left the property I got the notice to stay or call a babysitter. It would be nice to make this work if possible. I just checked my GoHere version and its just 44. She has the family oriented trait and has a bunch of kids herself and is pregnant, which is the reason I gave her the daycare job so she could stay home with the family. I will bump her up tomorrow and see if that makes a difference.ģ. The daycare provider is at level 1 when I left her to play another family. My sim was on paid days off (from a recent marriage that I complained about in another post) but I cancelled his days off and he went back to work.Ģ. the daycare provider was not on any paid days off because she had babies at the house (not hers). That's why, sometimes, I want to rip their annoying little heads off LOL. The whole thing is rediculous to the point of being funny. LOL, I do get frustrated with this game and have to admit that while writing out the palaver of this matter, I had to giggle. Such as - the daycare provider is not at their home, it's not within the hours that the daycare "center" is running, the daycare provider's home is not a residential lot, SP or something has given them a different career so there is no residentail lot based daycare center in town, possibly something else I am not thinking of right now. If you aren't getting the offer to teleport your toddlers to the inactive run daycare center with these settings, then I would say something not expected is happening. The Active Daycare doesn't apply here because your household active at the moment is not providing the daycare, you are trying to make them customers. NRaas > GoHere > Caregivers > Use Daycare Instead of Babysitters > True NRaas > GoHere > Caregivers > Allow Babies/Toddlers to Be Home Alone > False I get the message stay or call a babysitter when they leave for work. How do I get my sim family to drop off their toddler at daycare before leaving for work? I have an active daycare (one of my rotational families) but when I'm playing another family with a toddler, the child doesn't teleport or get taken to the daycare.
